Only a couple of years ago the idea of education via the Internet seemed abstract and computer games were associated with unsophisticated entertainment for teenagers. Luckily, times have changed and today hardly anyone shares such opinions. Most of us know that modern IT solutions in e-learning are a widely recognized and efficient method of education. And computer games have been evolving into a high-quality entertainment.

We particularly invite:

Event accompanying LEVEL_01 Fair

This is the first of a series of educational events addressed to teachers, methodologists, academics, business trainers as well as administrators and managers of e-learning platforms. It will present the most recent developments in utilizing ITC and multimedia for children and adult education. We aim to create a common ground for cooperation among computer games’ producers and distributors, authors of educational software and producers of computer accessories with the educational and academic community as well as to initiate a discussion on how those technologies shape the modern society.

Events planned during the Forum:

• shows and presentations using multimedia technologies
• workshops
• presentations (by teachers, psychologists, ethicists and media educators)
• conference - panel on ethical dimension of games and the Internet
• conference on utilizing ITC in educational context
